Sangeet Samaj was founded by Late Pandit Anandchand Chowdhary (02 March 1929 – 09 December 2009), a visionary and passionate supporter of Indian classical music and dance. With a deep love for the arts and an unwavering commitment to cultural preservation, Pandit Chowdhary dedicated his life to creating a platform where future generations could learn and appreciate the richness of Indian classical traditions.
Under his leadership, Sangeet Samaj became one of the most respected institutions for classical music and dance in Jamshedpur.
